On July 16, the participants of the Silk Way International Rally crossed the finish line of the race on the embankment of the Luzhniki Olympic Complex.

The race started on July 7, 2022 in Astrakhan. For the first time in the modern history of motor sports, the Republic of Dagestan and the Chechen Republic hosted these competitions. Athletes covered a distance of 4464 kilometers, of which 2786 were on high-speed sections, which are an excellent combination of complex and diverse tracks.

Our "Urals" took part in such a grandiose large-scale event. The plant provided several models of its all-terrain vehicles for transporting the medical service and the rally security service, as well as household items when moving bivouacs. Also onboard "Ural Next" served to evacuate and transport faulty vehicles from a distance. "Urals" became indispensable assistants throughout the race.

At the finish line in Luzhniki, an exhibition exposition was launched, which presents various samples of vehicles, including the legendary Ural off-road vehicles. The cars were provided by the official partner of the URAL automobile plant, MegaDrive. These are all-wheel drive vehicles for special purposes: fire ladder AL-30 with a gross weight of 14.5 tons with a 4x4 wheel arrangement and an onboard vehicle with a HKTC HLC-8026 crane-manipulator with a 6x6 wheel arrangement. Both cars are made on the Ural Next chassis, which confirms the versatility of the chassis.
